Some weeks are just full. Work, family, church, errands and surprises. By Wednesday you feel stretched thin. Peace in a busy week is not about having fewer things to do. It is about how you carry them.
Start the day with God
Before you check your phone, take one minute to pray or read a verse. You do not need an hour. A little time at the start sets your heart for the rest of the day. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee” (Isaiah 26:3).
Do one thing at a time
Multitasking feels productive and leaves you more tired. Pick the next thing, finish it and then move on. Your mind feels calmer when it has one job.
Plan the top three
Each night, write your top three for tomorrow. If you finish those, the day was a win. Everything else is a bonus.
Take small breaks
Stand up, stretch and breathe slowly for one minute every couple of hours. A short pause resets your body and mind faster than you would think.
Say no kindly
You cannot do everything. Say no to what does not fit. A kind no protects your yes for what matters most.
End the day with thanks
Before bed, name three things that went well. Even on rough days, there is something. Gratitude helps you rest.
Try this today
Right now, take five slow breaths. Then write the one thing that matters most today.
Keep going together
