I have been in seasons where I could not see the other side. It felt like they would last forever. They did not.
What helped was holding on to small things. A morning walk. A friend who checked in. A short prayer when words were hard to find.
Hope is not loud. Sometimes it is just getting up and doing the day one more time.
If that is where you are, I am cheering for you. Be gentle with yourself. Better days are closer than they feel.
This season will pass
If you are in a hard season right now, hear this: it will not last forever. Winters end. Storms move on. Every difficult stretch in your past eventually became a memory, and this one will too.
What helps while you wait
Take the next small step instead of trying to solve it all. Keep a simple routine. Eat, sleep, move a little. Reach out to one person, even if it is just a text. You do not have to carry this alone.
It also helps to remember what you have already survived. Think of a time you thought you would not make it, and you did. That strength is still in you.
If it feels too heavy
If you are struggling with thoughts of hurting yourself, please talk to someone right away. In the United States you can call or text 988 any time. You matter, and help is there.
Hard seasons do end. Hold on. Better days are coming.
Make someone's day
Pass this on. One kind message can change a whole day. Then play a game that does some good.
