You do not need a lot of time or money to be kind. You just need to notice. Here are five things you can do before lunch today.
Send a thank you text
Think of one person who helped you recently. Send them two sentences telling them what it meant. Do it now, before the day gets busy.
Let someone go first
In traffic, in line, at a door. Letting someone go ahead costs you ten seconds and gives them a better mood.
Ask a real question
Ask a coworker or a neighbor how they are, then actually listen to the answer. Most people are rarely asked twice.
Leave a kind review or note
If someone did good work, say so in writing. It might be the best thing their manager reads this week.
Smile first
It sounds simple because it is. A real smile often gets one back.
Pick one and do it before lunch. Then notice how you feel.
