Take ten quiet minutes today. Read the short devotional, then play the word search. It is free to print and easy to share with your family or small group.
Devotional: Be Still
Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” (KJV)
Most of us are not good at still. We reach for the phone before we pray. We plan tomorrow before we thank God for today.
Being still is not weakness. It is trust. It says, I do not have to figure out everything right now. God is working even when I cannot see it.
Today, find one quiet spot. Breathe slowly. Say a short prayer in your own words. Then listen for a minute. You do not need the perfect words. You just need to show up.

A calm way to spend time
Puzzles slow us down and give our minds a rest from screens. Print it, grab a pencil and take your time.
Playing with family makes it even better.
Make it a moment
As you find each word, pause and think about it for a moment. Say a short prayer or name one way it shows up in your life.
It turns a game into a quiet reflection.
Share it
Print extra copies for a friend, a small group or a grandparent. Do it together after dinner or on a slow weekend.
Little things like this bring people closer.
How to use this page
Print the puzzle on regular paper and give yourself fifteen quiet minutes. Words can run across, down and diagonally. Circle each one as you go. There is no timer and no score.
It works well for one person with coffee, for a family at the table, or for a small group before Bible study.
A short devotion to go with it
Pick one word you found and sit with it for a minute. If it is a word like grace, hope or peace, ask where it showed up in your week. Say a short prayer of thanks for that.
Puzzles slow the mind down. That quiet makes room for reflection, and a small moment of faith can fit right inside it.
Ways to make it a habit
Print one on Sunday afternoon. Keep a stack by the couch for rainy days. Send a copy to a grandparent who would love it. Let the kids make their own word lists to hide in the grid.
Little traditions like this build a calm home.
More to come
