Some seasons give you a plan. Others only give you the next step. Both are real, and both can be good.
When the answer is not clear, I ask a smaller question. What is one thing I can do today that I will be glad I did? Call someone. Clean the garage. Take a walk and pray or think it through.
Hope is not pretending everything is fine. It is deciding that things can get better and acting like it. A small act of faith in your own future is still an act.
You do not have to see the whole staircase. Take the step in front of you, and trust that the next one will show up when you need it.
