Use this morning reset checklist to start your day with a clear head. It takes about 15 minutes. Print it, save it or screenshot it.
The checklist
- ☐ Drink a full glass of water.
- ☐ Make your bed.
- ☐ Take five slow breaths by a window.
- ☐ Say one thing you are thankful for out loud.
- ☐ Pray or sit in silence for two minutes.
- ☐ Write down the one thing that matters most today.
- ☐ Move for five minutes: walk, stretch or pushups.
How to use it
You do not need to do all seven every day. Start with three. Once they feel easy, add one more. A short routine you actually do beats a long one you skip.
Why it works
The first part of your morning sets the tone. When you start with water, breath, thanks and a plan, you walk into the day on purpose instead of in a rush.
Try it for a week and see how you feel.

Make it fit your morningNot every item will work for you, and that is fine. Keep the three that matter most and drop the rest. A short checklist you actually use beats a long one you ignore. After a week, adjust it.
Prepare the night before
A good morning often starts the night before. Set out your clothes, fill a water bottle, and write down the first thing you will do tomorrow. When the morning comes, you do not have to think. You just start.
