Some mornings feel like a race before your feet hit the floor. Messages are waiting. Work is calling. The day is already asking for everything you have.
I try to slow down for two small things before I give the day away. One prayer and one plan.
The prayer does not have to be long or polished. Thank God for the day. Ask for help with what you cannot control. Ask for wisdom in what you can. If words do not come, sit quietly for a minute and let that be the prayer.
The plan is just as simple. Write down the one thing that matters most today. Not ten things. One. If everything else slips, that one thing still gets done.
Putting faith first changes how the rest of the day feels. You stop carrying it all alone. You remember who is really in charge.
Try it for one week. Two minutes in the morning. One prayer, one plan. See how it changes your day, and how you treat the people around you.
You are not behind. You are right on time to begin.
