There are seasons when everything feels gray. You get up, do what needs doing, and still feel like you are walking through fog. If you are there right now, I see you.
Light rarely comes all at once. It comes in small pieces, like a candle in a dark room. You do not have to light the whole house. Start with one flame.
Find your one flame
What is one thing that still brings you a bit of life? Music, a walk, a good meal, a phone call with your kid. Do that one thing on purpose this week.
Let someone sit with you
Light spreads when it is shared. Tell one trusted person how you are really doing. You do not need the perfect words. “I am struggling more than I want to admit” is enough.
Pray or meditate, even badly
Your prayers do not need to be long or polished. Some of my best prayers have been three honest words. Quiet time gives the dark a chance to soften.
Make space for rest
Dark days can drain you. Sleep, eat something real, and drink some water. Your body is part of finding your way back. If the heaviness lasts or gets worse, please talk to a doctor or counselor.
Keep your candle lit. Light always comes back, and you are allowed to be the one who helps it grow.
If you want a quick reset, try Breathe and Win and take one slow minute before you go on.
