Someone told you no. Maybe it was a customer, an investor, a partner or a friend. It stings, and that is normal.
Give yourself a day to feel it. Then get curious. Ask what the no is really about. Was it the price, the timing, the offer, or the person?
If you can, ask one follow up question. What would have made this a yes? Most people will tell you if you ask kindly.
Separate your worth from your idea. You are not your product. A weak offer can be fixed. You are not broken.
Look for patterns. One no is an opinion. Five of the same no is a message.
Change one thing at a time so you can learn what works. Rewrite the pitch. Adjust the price. Try a smaller first step.
Then go again. Every person you admire has a pile of nos behind them.
Keep going. The yes you need may be one more honest try away.
